The lastest Michigan Highway

The newest Michigan Highway ... is a ship.

In Japan, a car carrier designed to carry vehicles and heavy equipment of all kinds was named Michigan Highway.

I have no idea why.

I presume the thing will lug Japanese cars to the American market, but there are other automotive markets besides ours: they could use it to ship to China or Europe or India, whatever.

The ship has ten decks and isn't your typical ship shape, if you'll pardon the pun.
