The final two weekends of September is the final chance of the year for volunteers to clean up the state's highways.The 10-day period beginning September 22 will see nearly 3,200 volunteer groups picking up trash along the side of about 7,200 miles of highways in Michigan.
Last year, more than 75,000 bags of trash for collected by civic groups and employees of businesses.
