The most notable shift since the last forecast is an expansion and increase in the tornado threat across parts of Illinois and Missouri.
For West Michigan, the threat is still kind of questionable -- most likely, we'll see a line of gradually weakening thunderstorms move in late this evening that will have wind gusts in the 50-60 mph range. That could be just enough to trigger a few severe thunderstorm warnings. Overall, though, we're not anticipating widespread severe weather at this time.
